About Us
Basketball4All (formerly Scorchers Basketball Foundation) is an inclusive basketball charity. The trustees are all very passionate about basketball and how it can change lives. We work hard to get the inactive, active through this sport.
We are proud to say that we often hear from teachers, who tell us that many of our basketball sessions change pupils’ lives. Our sessions help young people who are at risk of committing crime, disengaged with sport in school, are young carers, have learning disabilities, find it difficult to make friends and may have issues with their weight.
We aim to encourage every young person to take part in basketball and provide a pathway within the sport for those that would like to continue playing.
That’s amazing, thank you so much. It really was so much fun, the children had an amazing time and it was extremely well organised. We all thought the event ran really smoothly.
They all had an absolutely brilliant time. They are still talking about it this week, they were so star struck by the players that were there as well, bless them.
The children had a brilliant time, they loved every minute of the session. Thank you so much for inviting us. They thoroughly enjoyed the activities and it was a fabulous experience for them to be able to meet professional basketball players that they could look up to!! Also the main coach was superb with the kids, he was enthusiastic and the activities ran seemlessly – excellent organisation and engagement!
It was so thoughtful for you to give them medals and a trophy to take home at the end of the session – something they could cherish and keep forever as a momentum. We will put the trophy in pride of place at our school! Thank you once again for a memorable trip -it was a huge hit for our kids!
The children thoroughly enjoyed the experience and a few have been looking into getting into basketball.
Thank you so much for sending the video over. I am sure the children would be delighted to see themselves in action.Thank you for giving Sandfield this opportunity, we really appreciate it, and look forward to doing it again next year.
B4A run projects for disadvantaged and disabled young people, helping to improve their lives through basketball in Surrey, Sussex, Kent, North East Hampshire and East Berkshire.
